10.30.18 // For my still life based on the “The Death of Cool” in Letters To A Young Artist I wanted to display the skull to represent death and have pink glitter slime dripping out from the mouth to make it fun and out of the ordinary. This passage basically talks about how we need to incorporate brighter colors, emotions, and energy into our artwork and everyday lives. We need to try to be as “uncool” as possible and not take life so seriously all the time.
Super eery but really cool! I like the combination of death with the skull but the contrast of the pink and sparkles.

i really like your interpretation, nice work! this also reminds me of a prop that neck deep would have used in their “in bloom” music video.
